About Me

Hello! My name is Fadhil Eniola Lawal. I am a student at Vanderbilt University pursuing a major in Electrical & Computer Engineering as well as a double minor in Computer Science and Legal Studies. I will be graduating in May of 2028. Growing up, I lived in Houston but spent extended periods living abroad in the UAE, Ghana, and Egypt.

  • Collaborated with founders to develop and teach comprehensive eight-week program teaching 25+ underrepresented black Muslim youth from six mosques C++, Arduino engineering, and game design, enhancing programming skill and interest in STEM

  • Developed 10+ slide decks, 25+ interactive coding assignments, and 3 collaborative capstone projects to enhance engagement

  • Programmed vehicle routing algorithm in Python and compared efficiency on suburban roads against industry standard (Dijkstra)

  • Utilized SUMO and TraCI to create and analyze urban traffic network simulations, improving high traffic route efficiency by 6.3%

  • Built and trained convolutional neural network to identify objects and animals in photos from CIFAR-10 dataset with 85% accuracy

  • Diagnosed damage of electronics (phones, laptops, etc) and repaired 45+ software and hardware issues for clients on weekly basis

  • Developed client-facing data management system to track device repair statuses, service histories, and warranty information, eliminating manual data entry process and centralizing client data storage, resulting in service turnaround time reduction of 11%

  • Spearheaded rollout of novel tracking system to upscale inventory management process, reducing inventory discrepancies by 15%
